Valet Pool Cleaning Services

Weekly or bi-weekly pool cleaning services in Hellertown, PA, and surrounding areas are available by B&B Pools.

Pool vacuuming, brushing, pool decking blown off, skimming,

chemistry checks and chemical additions can be made.

One-time vacation valet services are also available.

We can vacuum your pool and perform all our valet services and make sure

all is well with your swimming pool when you are away.

Valet sheets are filled out on each job and emailed to the customer.

You can see what was performed that day and your water chemistry result.

Pool Openings & Closings

We perform pool openings and spa openings and closings for all sizes of inground pools. We have various rates based on pool size and additional equipment.

Included with our regular opening services:

We remove, fold, and store your cover on your site
Remove all winter plugs and gizzmos
Reinstall wall fittings and baskets
Install handrails and ladders
Reassemble all winterized items on the filter pad
Perform a water chemistry test and add the opening chemical kit

If additional chemicals or parts and repairs are needed, they will be billed additionally.

Included with our regular closing winterization services:

We winterize the filter pad with one set of equipment
Rinse the grids or filter cartridges (if possible)
Blow all lines for the pool and spa
Remove wall fittings and baskets
Install winter plugs and gizzmos
Perform a water chemistry check and add the winter chemical kit

If additional chemicals or parts and repairs are needed, they will be billed additionally. We also can winterize water features and extra equipment billed additionally per item. Some pool covers require cabling, swimming or a water boat for installation and charges will apply.

To protect your investment over the winter we offer winter check-up services. This service includes a water chemistry check, pool water pump downs if necessary, and safety cover readjustments. Your pool does require some attention over the long winters. It makes for a better opening and all-around better swim season.

Drain & Clean

When pools become dirty beyond vacuuming, a drain and clean is an option. The pool will need to be refilled with water and water chemistry re-balanced. For pools with significant staining, an acid washing can be performed. This can help reduce or eliminate staining. This service is also a drain and clean. The pool will need to be refilled with water and water chemistry readjusted.

Acid Bath

This service can be used to even out the finish from staining or mottling in pool plaster. The water remains in the pool and the pH and alkalinity levels are lowered. When the desired effect is reached the pH is brought back to regular operating levels. A heater bypass is needed prior to this service.

This process will take 7-10 days. While this process is happening, the pool needs to be brushed daily and, in some cases, twice daily. This process works by removing a very thin layer of plaster.
